THE ANNOYING THING

THE ANNOYING THING.

One winter morning, it appeared an strange being in Daniel´s World. Nobody knew where IT came from, neither when. IT was a sort of mosquito with a huge head, a huge, wearing a huge pilot glasses and a christmas Santa Claus cap, perhaps IT had been lost along the temporal line… Citizens began to call IT “The Annoying Thing” because IT spent its days ANNOYING everybody IT met, day and night. IT was a really desperating…thing.
The Annoying Thing was always the same question:” What can I I do?, Can I help you?”, aaaall day,once and again. Daniel was very angry with IT. But one day he thought: “ This is the reason why our parents were always telling us off, almost all of us were and are, sometimes very annoying too…” and then, he felt very sorry about the attitude everybody had had towards “The Annoying Thing”.
So, all the citizens had a meeting and all together made a decision. They would try to be its friend, despite IT was a bit difficult for them, since IT shouted all day; IT jumped once and again; IT repeated “Can I help”?. IT had never taken a bath;IT sang and belched making a lot of noise… People were very upset every time The Annoying Thing put its finger into their noses, even IT could lick your ear or your face. IT was unbearable.
One day, Daniel and his friends took The Annoying Thing and told IT:”Do you want to help us?”, “Come with us”. The first thing they did was to make him take a bath. Then, they made him order all the toys that were scattered over the floor. Finally, IT helped the little boys and girls to take their baths. So, at the end of the day, “The Annoyng Thing” was exhausted, IT only wanted to sleep. That night, everybody could dream.
“The Annoying Thing” became the most demanded assistant and although, IT went on being a bit annoying, all the citizens of this fantastic world learnt to love it, because they realised they all had been, or were, an “Annoying Thing” for someone else. And being annoying could be, sometimes, wonderful and very funny .
